Twistin’ Gemar Balloons at Twist & Shout 2023

Gemar USA is proud to have spent the week at the Twist & Shout convention in Glendale, California from February 22nd to February 26th. We had 2 instructors with us along the event, Gemar Ambassador Gergő Csatai and Gemar instructor DJ Morrow. Gemar USA is proud to report that the response of the Twist & Shout 2023 convention has been extremely positive.

Twist & Shout 2023 was a spectacular event that featured some of the best balloon twisters in the world! Gemar USA was proud to be a major sponsor of the event.

Gergő and DJ Morrow each led two classes, demonstrating the skills of balloon twisting with Gemar Balloons. For DJ Morrow, students learned how to manipulate the classic balloon weave with tapering and curvature, and translate those principles to other weaving techniques. The second class features designs of bugs and creepy crawlies, both whimsical and spine-tingling, for sculpting restaurant centerpieces with crowd pleaser designs and novel techniques. Gergő’s classes taught with Gemar® Shiny balloons, we learned to make a large lion and dinosaur while learning amazing skills and techniques that will help with other sculptures to new levels.

​Overall, the event was a great success, with Gemar USA’s sponsorship ensuring the event was filled with fun and creativity. The atmosphere was one of amazing energy, with participants enjoying the opportunity to learn new balloon twisting techniques and use Gemar® products.

This was Gemar USA’s second involvement in Twist & Shout and the event proved yet again that collaborations between Gemar USA and balloon twisting experts can lead to truly memorable events. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Gemar USA and Twist & Shout!
