Flying high in São Paulo
We always love to bring a touch of Gemar magic to new places and last weekend saw Gemar Masters Claudio, Cristian and Vincenzo packing their bags and boarding the plane for our first ever GemarDay in South America. One we hope will be the first of many!
There was a real party atmosphere to this GemarDay with so many new people to meet and a lot of fun to be had. In true party style we kicked off with a cocktail evening on Sunday where everyone enjoyed mingling, making new friends and greeting some old ones, while sharing their love of balloons and excitement for the next day.
After such a wonderful evening you could feel the anticipation in the air on Monday morning. Everyone was eager to get started and with six classes to enjoy it’s a good job! We had balloon walls, displays and beautiful sculptures to share, our delegates learnt how to combine balloons with flowers and even had a go at customising balloons by filling them with confetti, glitter and paint. It was a packed day, but these lessons were just the beginning.
As the day drew to a close and we bid our new friends goodbye, it was clear that it had been a success. Each balloon artist seemed to float out of the door and into the evening light, full of the joy and magic that can only be found at a GemarDay.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who worked so hard to make our first GemarDay in South America a wonderful one especially our GemarParter Megatoon Baloes. It takes a great deal of hard work and we really do appreciate support from our fellow enthusiasts. It was crazy !!! We would also like to thank the people of São Paulo for making us feel so welcome, we hope to return very soon to lift the moment again!
