Irina and Irina Lift the Moment Again

Fun-filled workshop in Minsk

Our Russian Ambassadors Irina Lobanova and Irina Gvozdenko have been very busy recently, collaborating with other balloon artists to produce some amazing displays. However, they still found time to run an event of their own on 25th November in Minsk, where they hosted a workshop teaching balloon sculpture.

Gemar was thrilled to sponsor the workshop organised by Don Balloon Belarus. The atmosphere was buzzing as 45 excited students watched the demonstrations, but this was very much a hands on day so they all rolled up their sleeves and contributed towards the creation of some wonderful sculptures.

As the room rang with laughter, smiles could be seen on every face and handfuls of Gemar balloons were inflated, tied, twisted and joined. Before long the creations started to appear, a delicate hot air balloon, bright pink flowers on a jungle green wreath and even a delicate blue archway that just happened to provide the perfect backdrop when the certificates were presented at the end of the day.

Our Ambassadors are passionate about balloon art, pushing the boundaries of what is possible with wonderful innovation and new ideas. When they hold a workshop they don’t just pass on knowledge and skills, their enthusiasm and sheer joy is infectious and no student is immune.

Many thanks to Irina, Irina and everyone who came along on the day. We hope you will use your newfound skills to lift the moment, now and in the future.
