It’s World Wildlife Day on March 3rd and this year’s theme is very close to our hearts. “Sustaining all life on Earth” encompasses so many of the things we aim for here at Gemar, from rubber plantations that support biodiversity to our balloons, which degrade at the same rate as an oak leaf.
This year we want to support the animals that have been affected by recent forest fires in Australia. The flames may have gone out, but with over 20% of Australia’s forests scorched the remaining wildlife isn’t safe yet. We have created two GIFs, featuring a very cute koala, as reminders that they still need our help.
We are also making donations to four different charities to support their very real work in animal care and rescue. WWF Italia, WWF Australia, Koala Hospital and Wildlife Warriors are all wonderful organisations and we are very pleased to support them.
